Police thank Trees Estate residents
Inspector Gavin Whitehouse and police community support officer, Julie Jones, presented a £150 cheque to the association, which represents those who live on the Trees Estate.
The donation to the association’s chairman, Gez Watson, completed the £950 fund-raising by the association for the recent repainting of a hopscotch court on the estate, a project which has transformed the site near Tamarisk Close.

“An active residents’ association like this one can make a real difference to an area.
“It means we know who is willing to make a difference and say they want to be involved.”
Mrs Watson said: “This donation is terrific because it means we have fully paid for the project to brighten up the hopscotch court.”
