Pier-to-pier walk boosts Littlehampton Scout group’s fundraising

SCOUTS, Cubs and Beavers from the 4th Littlehampton Scout Group have had a great start to their summer fundraising drive.
The group has set itself an ambitious target of drumming-up £1,000 to pay for a new field kitchen and supplies.
However, it seems they are well on course to complete their challenge with two fundraisers having already raised about £700.

Hide AdThis month, a team of 35 members from the group braved scorching conditions to finish a nine-mile walk from Worthing Pier to Littlehampton Pier, raising £500, while an assault course at Armed Forces Day, in Littlehampton, generated a further £200. Scout leader Martin Funnell said he was ‘incredibly proud’ of their efforts.
