The inquest heard Doreen Alsworth, 73, from Elgin Gardens in Seaford, died on November 1 after struggling with osteoporosis and the anxieties which stemmed from it.
Mrs Alsworth’s husband Michael said in a statement the couple slept in separate bedrooms and at 10pm Mrs Alsworth left him to go to bed on October 31.

When he checked on his wife later, he could not see her in bed. He said he then went to the far side of the room where he discovered Mrs Alsworth dead and immediately called for an ambulance.
DS Hansen told the inquest Mr Alsworth said he did not realise his wife’s osteoporosis affected her ‘to this extent’.
DS Hansen said, “Her husband told me she had been dealing with this pain and that it ‘must have all got too much’.”
