This is when Horsham’s Riverside Walk is set to return
and live on Freeview channel 276
Organisers are feeling confident that conditions will allow for the 13-mile trek around the district to take place on Saturday, September 11.
The event – which saw its biggest turnout in 2019 with 320 participants – is open to walkers and runners of all ages and there is no charge to join in.

Hide AdDavid Searle, chair of Horsham Town Community Partnership, said: “This year the walk will be led by Jill Shuker, an experienced leader well-known to local walkers. Jill has been an organiser and supporter of the event since 2014.
“Because not everyone will be able, or wish, to walk the total length, a free mini bus will wait at agreed points to transport participants back to the car park. Two refreshment stops will be provided.
“The start and finish will be at New House Farm, in Old Crawley Road, where the owner has been very helpful in allowing use of a large area to park cars. Conveniently, the farm is on the route of the 13-mile circular walk around the town.”
Those taking part will have an opportunity to donate to the local branch of the charity, Parkinson’s UK. Dogs are welcome.
