More than 200 vehicles caught speeding on Hastings road

Police said that more than 200 vehicles were caught speeding on a single road in Hastings.
Police and crime commissioner Katy Bourne joined a Community Speedwatch team in monitoring Crowhurst Road on Monday (August 15).
A spokesperson for Hastings Police said: “Yesterday the police and crime commissioner (PCC) Katy Bourne OBE joined the local CSW team in Crowhurst Road Hastings.
“202 vehicles were caught doing speeds of up to 48mph in a 30mph zone. Six speeding tickets were issued, and one for failing to wear a seatbelt.”
