Midhurst Town Council ‘thrilled’ with response to first ever scarecrow competition
In a bid to raise spirits during the coronavirus pandemic, the town council set up the creativity contest, with the winners, Pauline Dey, Sue McAra and June Barnard, receiving vouchers to spend at shops in Midhurst.
A spokesperson said: “The town council is absolutely thrilled with the amount and quality of the entries which made judging a difficult task.
