Man dies after collapsing in St Leonards

Police attended Marina, St Leonards at 9.35am on Wednesday (March 17) after reports of a medical incident.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Despite the best efforts of paramedics and police in attendance, a man in his 70s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics were also called to the scene.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “I can confirm that we were called at approximately 9.30am today to reports a man had collapsed.
“Ambulance crews attended the scene alongside officers from Sussex Police. Sadly, efforts to resuscitate the man proved unsuccessful and he died at the scene.”
