Fay Davies lives in Nutley, with her partner, Ade.
She is a professional facepainter but is currently unable to work due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
She said, “I was and am unable to work. It gave me time to think about things.

“I felt as if I needed to do something useful in the present situation.
“The idea of a sponsored headshave to raise money for my local Foodbank came to mind. So after speaking to the Foodbank they were more than happy to receive any money I raised as their workload had increased considerably since lockdown.
“I set the date for the headshave on Sunday the April 26. I went live so I could generate more money, but I didn’t have any target in mind.
“My son Limahl said he would help me get to £500 so he contacted all his friends and workmates which was a huge help!
“It didn’t stop there though.
“Through generous donations from family and friends I made an incredible £800.”
