Horsham fundraiser for vulnerable more than halfway to its target

Horsham District Council has set a target of raising the money by the end of May.

Hide AdThe cash will be used to buy and deliver essential food and medicines to the vulnerable who are self-isolating.
A council spokeswoman said: “To ensure every vulnerable Horsham District resident gets the essential items they need, we need to raise £10,000 by the end of May 2020.”
She added that £10 will buy essential foods, £20 will buy essential foods and medicines and £50 will buy a small food parcel for a self-isolating resident and contribute to a food bank.
The spokeswoman said: “Any donations are really welcome.
“To give £20 by mobile, just text HUBS to 70085. Texts cost £20 (the donation) plus one standard rate message.
