Peasmarsh ends the school year in style
The event was well attended by parents and their children, friends and supporters of the school and village residents. It was a lovely sunny day and there was much to entertain, including stalls, activities and performances by pupils of Peasmarsh School and local organisations. The fete raised over a thousand pounds, which will be invested in equipment to support children’s learning. Thanks go to all those who generously supported.
Earlier in the week, Year 6 pupils at the school celebrated excellent results in their SATs, with pupils attaining 100% Level 4 in Reading and Writing and 88% in Maths. This improvement in results places the school in the top 10% in the County for value added.
