Shopping trips may have to end

It has friendly traders who know me (Jim, Dave, Charlotte, Alex, Gary, Steve) and who run their own businesses. They sell fresh ‘unpackaged’ produce, much of it locally sourced (my Christmas turkey, from Battle, was excellent) unrivalled by any impersonal supermarket.
There is a ‘regular shoppers’ 10 per cent discount scheme. Delivery to your door can be arranged although I have not used this yet. One bus takes me easily to and from the town.

Hide AdUnfortunately I have reached the age where, if I have to go, I have to go quickly. The proximity of conveniences is something I therefore need to consider whenever I venture out.
Closure of the ones in Harold Place is thus most inconvenient and may stop my shopping forays to the arcade. Thank you, HBC.
Or, maybe I should buy some nappies.
