Limit speeds along A2300 dual proposal route to lessen noxious air
These will be present in large quantities along the footpath from emissions, inside a car even to a greater extent apparently than outside it, and it is beholden on all of us to produce as little as we can.
Responsibility for bringing this about must largely rest with each council, none of whom can shovel off this task to employees and contractors. They are at the top of the tree so to speak and must be answerable for the ill health which is likely to be caused by a speed limit of 70 mph.

Hide AdTo spell it out, particulates lodge in the lung airways, and are proven to cause cancer and early death. This is a serious danger for young and old breathing in such noxious air.
There is one way which particulates can be reduced considerably; and that is to limit the speed along the above road to 50 mph, which has so ably been argued for by Jo Kyndt.
I hope that this is taken on board as soon as the road is passed for use. Perhaps our democratically elected councillors would care to show their mettle by having a recorded vote? No pressure!
