We’re calling on people to take one million steps each over the months of July, August and September and to get sponsored for doing so.
Taking a million steps over three months may sound like a lot, but it works out as roughly 10,000 steps a day, which is the minimum amount recommended to maintain good health.

Money you raise through sponsorship will help us to fund vital research into diabetes, campaign on key issues, and support even more of the four million people in the UK who are living with the condition.
Walking is a great way of keeping fit and active, and can help you to maintain a healthy weight which is key to reducing your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
Getting plenty of exercise and eating healthily can also help people with diabetes to manage their condition well.
