Now that’s what I call being green – not. Arun District Council should have sorted this out as soon as it happened. What a waste of money. Arun, as a council, should be leading the way as far as being green is concerned, as people will take the lead from them. Does Arun not have a reactive maintenance team that can deal with a problem so small at a cost of less then £20, and which could have saved 100 times this amount? They seem not to have the sense that when people go to bed no water gets used, so even a drip will cause a tank to fill and run out of an overflow pipe overnight – it’s not rocket science, is it? This example is hardly saving the planet, is it? Mervyn Woodruff Yapton Lane Arundel
