Surely something can be done for Eastbourne’s Carpet Gardens?
On the one hand, it is something that the road opposite the pier is open to traffic and the statue of a British soldier is no longer boarded up, on a demolition site.
On the other hand, Eastbourne Borough Council’s scorched earth policy for the Carpet Gardens in summer 2020 is disappointing.
