LETTER: Changes at tips '˜short sighted'
I find the West Sussex County Council decision to cut opening hours and charge on these items very short sighted.
It is not a surprise that there has been a staggering drop in soil and hardcore volumes and it doesn’t take much imagination to guess where it’s going.

Hide AdA large public response to the consultation on the changes back in the summer did nothing to stop it from happening and as we head towards the longer days, it is sure to get worse.
We should be encouraging recycling and reusing of everything as much as possible, not taking away the incentive to it.
We need better decisions coming out of county hall.
