Generating more jobs
We recognise that there is currently some employment on the North Littlehampton site, but this is not enough to meet Littlehampton’s need going forwards. In addition, much of the current employment is seasonal.
To enable a viable economic future for Littlehampton, it is important to look to create new jobs in new sectors.

The new development proposed will bring forward many times the number of existing jobs and at higher wage and skills levels.
As part of this restructuring of the local economy, some existing jobs on site have already been relocated and others are expected to relocate in the future.
These, however, will be replaced by a much higher number of jobs that are more sustainable and better suit the needs of the current and future local population as well as helping to revitalise the town centre.
