Dazzle hassle
We had no warning of this at all, and worse was to come when the light was switched on because it lit up the whole back garden and house walls, two bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. We need to wear sun glasses in the house at night.
Our neighbours have the same problem, plus they have rabbits and guinea pigs who are hopping mad because they’re not sure when day and night start and finish.

Hide AdAfter phoning the street lighting contractors SSE, they have now put a 4inch guard at the back of the light which has minimal affect, so we are now waiting for a different guard to see what that can do.
Why the lights could not have been put on the opposite side of the road, where there are grass verges, I don’t know.
I would like to thank River ward town councillor Berni Millam for her prompt response to my phone call and I am hoping we can get some sort of end to this light trespass on our property.
