Classy cricket kits for Oakmeeds
The shirts were officially presented by the Rotary Club on Wednesday 21 January and some of the teams showcased the new kit at indoor matches that afternoon.
Mr Gartrell, BH Rotary, said: “The Rotary Club of Burgess Hill & District are delighted to be able to work in our local community and support our local school.

We look forward to seeing some action shots of Oakmeeds’ cricketers in the College newsletter in due course. Many thanks.”
Mr Vincent, Head of PE, commented: “We are delighted with the new kit and are very grateful to Burgess Hill Rotary for their support. We had a very successful 2014 season with our U13 girls coming 3rd in the South East Regional Finals of the Lady Taverners Indoor Cricket Tournament and U15 girls reaching the County Cricket Final.
“The new shirts will make both the boys’ and girls’ teams look smarter and more professional, which we are sure will be reflected in the way we play.”
