Author opens school library
Rudgwick Primary School welcomed children’s author Anthony Lishak who performed the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the school’s new library. Anthony, a former primary school teacher in north London, has written more than 20 children’s books such as Henry’s Boot and Row Your Boat. After cutting the ribbon he gave the children a workshop on inspirational writing. He was incredibly entertaining and both children and teachers gained a lot from his visit. Rudgwick Primary’s new library is a welcome additional facility for the school and has already increased the children’s interest in books and reading.
