Gearing up for Christmas
Parents often find it an extremely busy time, but it is always worthwhile to see all of the smiling faces on Christmas Day.
At Chestnut Tree House we have been preparing for Christmas for the last six months – planning our festive events, such as the Snowman Spectacular Fundraising Ball and the children’s Christmas parties.

We also had a big Christmas dinner earlier in the month to thank all of our lovely volunteers who have supported us throughout the year, and we will be serving up a yummy Christmas lunch to our staff.
I think the best event of the season is when the real Mother and Father Christmas come to visit Chestnut Tree House, prior to the big day itself.
It is a very busy time for them, but they still always make time to pop in and talk to all of the children, give out lovely presents, and even some mulled wine for the parents!

I’d just like to say a huge thank you to the generous local businesses and organisations who have donated presents for the children, organised Christmas Giving Trees, Christmas parties, motorcycle, bike and car runs to the House to deliver presents and so much more.
Chestnut Tree House, in Dover Lane, Arundel, cares for over 280 children and young adults from 0-25 years of age with progressive life-limiting conditions.
