No credit crunch at RAFA Christmas fair
President of the Bexhill branch Ken Igglesden said: "I am over the moon - I don't think the people of Bexhill have heard of the credit crunch.
"This is the best we have done for a long while for one of our fairs. I am very pleased with the support we are getting from the town - it is an amazing result."

Jessica Fagg was in charge of the bric-a-brac and said much of it was donated by friends and neighbours, while Bonita Stevens and daughter Chantal did well with their jewellery bargains, and Elizabeth Leahy sold handmade cards.
Sandra Pasfield was running the cake stall which had a selection of fast-disappearing goodies including homemade apricot jam, flapjacks and sponge slices.
Sandra said: "People have responded well - very much so. We have had lots of people bringing stuff in for us which is good. I think people like the homemade things...there are a lot of elderly people in the town now who don't have the time, or maybe the eyesight, to try to make it themselves.
"So this helps the elderly then, and that is what we try to do - it seems to go down quite well."
