WALLANDS SCHOOL: A huge thank you to all of the amazing performers who made last Friday night’s Wassail so special; you were wonderful. I am delighted to say, once we have paid for the hire of the lights, sound equipment and sound engineer, the sale of tickets and t-shirts will have raised over £700 to spend on the school stage refurbishment. Thank you to all involved.
CHRIST CHURCH: Today, Friday, is our last Tots meeting before the half term break. The first half of the term seems to have flown by. Next Friday from 10.30am we have our Messy Church finishing with lunch at 1pm. This is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for admission and there will be craft activities, celebration and lunch all around the theme of The Last Supper. Over 100 people came to our Messy Church at Christmas and we hope to have a similar number next week. Worship on Sunday will include Holy Communion and will be led by our Minister, Rev John Gordon. Sunday Club for children will be running during the service. After the service we will be having a congregational meeting and the morning will finish with a lunch. We are now planning our Children’s Summer Holiday Club. This will be running from July 27 to 29 so if you have children in Reception up to Year 6 and would like them to attend please book the dates in your diary now.
