Mayor’s charity swim an ‘excellent’ event
THE first mayor’s charity swim to be held at the Splashpoint pool was an ‘excellent’ event where ‘everyone had a really good time’, according to Worthing mayor Bob Smytherman.
Swimmers of all abilities took to the water to raise money for the mayor’s chosen charities – Guildcare, the Alzheimer’s Society and Coastal West Sussex Mind.
Mr Smytherman said: “I think it was excellent, the feedback on the day was very positive. It was a fantastic venue and all abilities took part which was great.”
