Man suffers broken jaw in street attack

Several men in their 20s were seen kicking and punching another man on the ground near the Lidl store in North Street, Worthing, at around 11pm, on Saturday, August 8.
A 28-year-old man went to intervene but he was himself assaulted and suffered a broken jaw.

Hide AdPolice are appealing for witnesses to the incident and are also hoping to identify the man originally being attacked.
They would also like to speak to his friends, who left the area with him.
Anyone with information is asked to email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting serial 822 of 11/08.
Alternatively they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
