AUTHOR and former Town Clerk Malcolm Pratt has shed new light on the historic town of Winchelsea with his new book Winchelsea poor Law Records 1790 - 1841.
Malcolm gave a talk on the book when it was launched at Winchelsea New Hall on Saturday.
Previous books published by Mr Pratt include `Winchelsea - A Port of Stranded Pride’ and ‘The Tale of a Medieval Town’. Malcolm Pratt retired as Winchelsea Town Clerk this year after 28 years service.
