Lyminster pupils learn the ropes to skip to a healthy beat
Pupils in years three and four at Lyminster Primary School wore red all day on Friday to take part in the British Heart Foundation’s Jump Rope for Heart campaign.
Using ropes provided by the heart charity, the children showed off the skipping skills they have been learning since last summer and took on teachers to see who could do the most skips in a minute.

She added: “Preparing for Jump Rope for Heart has given our pupils a reason to get active, not to mention having lots of fun.”
Lyminster is one of more than 25,000 schools to have registered to take part in the initiative since it was launched in 1987, raising vital funds for the charity.
