Littlehampton women’s sky dive raise top total
Emma White, Sophie Hicks, Emily Tann, Hayley Mcdermott and Karen Foden all launched themselves from an aeroplane flying almost two miles over Wiltshire, with their courageous efforts raising more than £4,000 for the RNLI lifeboat station, in Fisherman’s Quay.
The event had previously been cancelled due to abysmal weather conditions. But this month’s successful attempt couldn’t have been more different, with clear skies and scorching temperatures.

“We have been raising money for this since January. I work in the Trading Post, in Barnham, where customers have been literally handing me donations everyday, they are so supportive. We were hoping to raise something around the £2,000 mark so we were staggered when after a quick tot up we realised we had raised over £4,000!”
Laura Patrick, who couldn’t make the event, will be jumping separately.
