Katie Price fined for driving through red light on the A24
Horsham Magistrates’ Court heard that Miss Price jumped the light, close to her Dial Post home, in August last year.
She had originally pleaded not guilty, but changed her plea today. (July 3)

Hide AdProsecutor Piers Restell said her Bentley had been caught on camera passing a light 1.3 seconds after it had changed to red.
Julian Dale, defending, said the offence had happened just weeks after his client had her fifth child, who was born by emergency caesarean.
He said Miss Price had just been declared fit to drive and she and her husband, who were in the process of moving in together, had been visiting their child in hospital.
“So two very difficult, and incredibly stressful things going on in her life at the time,” he said.

Hide AdHe added that she had no memory of the incident, but had now accepted that it must have been her driving the car, hence the guilty plea.
Magistrates gave her a £700 fine, with £450 costs, a £70 victim surcharge, and three penalty points added to her licence.
