Horsham's Holbrook Club faces an uncertain future after a dispute over a new lease offered by landowner Horsham Football Club.

- A new company will take on running Horsham’s markets. Aldred Associates, which has run the markets for the last five years, did not tender for the contract. Director PJ Aldred said they would be focusing on their own shop and cafe.

- A motorcyclist was jailed for what police described as the ‘most outrageous incident of dangerous driving’ they had ever seen. Police spotted the rider while he was travelling at more than 100mph on the A24 near Broadbridge Heath.

- In the South Downs edition, a plan to build 160 homes in Storrington was rejected by a district council committee. The planning application was criticised as a cynical attempt to get the scheme approved before a neighbourhood plan could be drawn up.
