Hide AdThe team at the Rother Valley Railway have spoken of their joy after Rother District Council gave them the go ahead to restore a two mile section of track over the A21.
Also this week, the council has announced plans to end its ten year waste collection contract with Kier four years early, blaming a fall in the market for recycling materials.
This week’s paper also carries a two-page feature on the work of the SERV blood runners, a group of volunteers who transport emergency blood products to hospitals across East and West Sussex.
