Hats off to Ferring pupils

First prize went to Elaina Charalambous in year six for her three Easter island hat which told the story of Jesus. Becky Smith from year two came second with a ‘Spring Chick’ hat, and third prize went to Eleanor Wood in reception for her Easter sparkle hat.
Judge Carol West, said: “The variety of hats made a stunning display, and it was really difficult to choose the best three because they all deserved a prize.”

Hide AdPCSO Hannah Pearson also judged the competition. She said: “The children were absolutely brilliant and their hats showed great creativity and imagination.
“It was a pleasure to be one of the judges and I hope I can return.”
