PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY: This week was an annual competition where photos are based on a local village or town and taken between specific dates. This year the subject was Shoreham and members could enter six photos depicting their view of Shoreham. Dave Elliot LRPS, an enthusiastic, creative and award winning photographer located in Sussex judged this competition. Terry Maskell came first, Tim Creed second and Nicola Stone third. After the competition Dave gave a short lecture on using the camera on a mobile phone showing a number of creative images, explaining what can be done with a phone camera and various apps that can enhance photos. A very interesting lecture and many members will be trying out their phone cameras with renewed enthusiasm.
