Glitz and Gatsby glamour at prom

Ball gowns and tuxedos cry out for smart arrivals and there was an impressive array of flash sports cars and stylish limos delivering students to the door. Some had even managed to really stand out, with a beautiful Rolls Royce, a 1960’s double-decker Southdown bus, and even one of Mick Gould’s mighty breakdown recovery trucks. The driver managed to get it through the gates and up the driveway, blasting the air-horns for maximum effect. Even the rain held off until just before everyone sat down to eat.
