Friary Gardeners are looking to you for help
Despite generous donations from members of the public and sponsorship by organisations like the Hastings Lions and local companies Just Property, Green Insurance and others, the fundraising is falling short of its weekly target.
"We launched our Sunflower fundraising campaign on April 4 and need to raise 10,000 a week if we are to meet the target of 130,000 at the end of this month.

He says pledges people have made to make regular monthly instalments over the next two years are hugely valuable.
"The large donations are of course wonderful but individuals can help by agreeing to make a small donation of, say, 5 each month for two years.
"This would ensure we could raise the remaining money from the bank and repay the loan more quickly," says Andrew.

Travel Time, Manningtons Accountants, Blackbrooks Garden Centres, Dyer Commercial, Coastal Amusements and Marshall Tufflex have all given sponsorship but the Trust is hoping more will follow suit.
