FOUR ARRESTED AT FASLANE NUKE BASE
The Jolly family of Southover High Street were arrested with 20 others after blocking the road into the base for some five hours.
Some 80 people took part in the open-air seminar/blockade, aimed at applying pressure on the Government for nuclear disarmament.

Hide AdThe protest had been given new impetus by the Government's decision last month to renew Britain's Trident submarine-based nuclear missile system.
Among those arrested were Dr Alison Jolly, renowned expert on lemurs and specialist on human evolution; Professor Sir Richard Jolly, a 72-year-old development economist, and their daughters, Dr Margaretta Jolly, senior lecturer of English at Exeter University and Susie Jolly, specialising in sexuality and gender at the Institute of Development Studies in Falmer.
