Flagship facility due to open in July
This state-of-the-art facility, the first of its kind in the county and one of the most advanced in the UK, is the result of an initiative by West Sussex County Council and its recycling contractor, Viridor.
Once it is fully operational, district and borough councils will be able to collect more materials from their residents for recycling.

Hide AdIt is a key component of Reclaim West Sussex, a 25-year recycling and waste handling contract that is helping the county to achieve a target of recycling 45 per cent of household waste by 2015.
