Experience the essence of Christmas at Chichester's festive market
Found in East Street and part of North Street, a variety of stalls opened for business on Saturday, December 3 and will remain until this Sunday (December 11).
The week-long market will give shoppers the chance to browse and purchase something a bit different this festive season.

Hide AdBarbara Roe was amongst the stall holders who runs a stand on behalf of her husband’s company, ‘Ted’s Garden’, which creates decorative metalwork with a wildlife theme for patio and garden decoration.
Barbara said: “We come to this market every year – Chichester has a really nice feel to it and a lovely atmosphere.
“It was so busy over the weekend and we had so many compliments from customers.”
Phil Waters runs the stall ‘Claire Waters Glass Artist’ on behalf of his wife.

Hide Ad“We have been at the Chichester Christmas market for five years,” said Phil.
“We like this market because the people are so friendly and we get a lot of repeat customers.”
Mr Waters added: “People come here because they want something different, and I think we manage to present something that is a bit unique to everyone else.
“Shoppers like to find a one-of-a-kind gift.”
One shopper, who asked not to be named, had travelled from Petworth to browse the market. She said: “It’s a really nice market and really handy to have lots of different bits and pieces to look at leading up to Christmas.

Hide Ad“I came last year and I would say it is definitely as successful this time round.”
Another shopper, Karen Hale, said: “I am really enjoying this year’s market.
“We have been to other markets but this one really stands out, it is lovely to see such amazing hand-crafted items.”
