Elderly Robertsbridge woman breaks neck in A21 crash
She was driving a Toyota Aygo south towards Hastings when she was involved in a crash head-on with a Ford C-Max at around 8.05am.
She was cut from her car by firefighters and airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where her condition this afternoon was described as potentially life-threatening.

Hide AdThe driver of the Ford, a 60-year-old woman, also from Robertsbridge, was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings for treatment to neck and back injuries.
The road was closed for five hours while rescue and recovery work took place.
