Double Olympic champion Kelly Holmes does Horsham Parkrun
Holmes, who won Gold for GB in the 800m and 1500m events in 2004, led hundreds of runners at the weekly event in Horsham Park this morning (Saturday February 27).
She took group selfies with runners and said taking part in parkruns was the ‘fun side’ to her marathon training.

Hide AdHolmes, 45, from Kent, said: “It’s been nice to interact with people and if I can make it fun, it’s great.
“Parkruns are everywhere round the country full of lovely people all doing it for various reasons.
“For me, I’m doing the London Marathon - hating every minute of it so this is the fun side and I’m trying to raise £250,000 for five charities.”
She complimented Horsham’s joggers and joked about the course’s hills and mud.
