De La Warr Pavilion's latest balancing act

THE DE LA WARR Pavilion's most daring and ambitious artist's commission to date, was unveiled late yesterday afternoon (Tuesday July 3).
Open to the public from Saturday July 7 through to October 1, artist Richard Wilson’s Hang On A Minute Lads, I’ve Got A Great Idea- named after Michael Caine’s famous last line in The Italian Job - is part of the London 2012 Festival, a 12-week nationwide celebration.
Recreating the final scene of the original 1969 movie, The Italian Job, Mr Wilson’s full-sized replica coach now balances from the roof of the De La Warr Pavilion (DLWP).
