Crawley College incident: MP praises police and staff for 'professionalism, calm and care'

Pupils and staff were evacuated from the college and two staff were treated for minor injuries, not gunshot wounds.
An 18-year-old man was arrested and is in custody following the incident, which is not being treated as a terrorist incident.

Hide AdA heavy police presence was at the college all of Monday evening and there were witness reports a teacher 'rugby-tackled' the attacker.
And Crawley MP Henry Smith was quick to praise everyone invoolved.
He tweeted: "I pay tribute to Sussex Police and Crawley College staff for their professionalism, calm and care in responding to the town centre fire arms incident this afternoon."
