Confusing bus destinations in Rye
He was speaking at at a meeting of the Rother Transport Action Group in Bexhill on Tuesday.
Mr Moore said: “I don’t know if it’s because you’re using elderly buses on some routes, but their destination boards don’t work and instead the number is written on a piece of paper placed on the windscreen.

Hide Ad“That’s all very well, but there’s no indication as to which direction the bus is going along that route, which can be confusing at shared stops.”
Rachel Gelimassi, for Stagecoach, accepted the criticism and said: “It’s not a standard we want to adhere to and we are taking steps to get that sorted.”
