Competitor buys Horsham firm
Damovo, which provides ICT services and solutions around the globe, announced last month the UK operations of the business, including its office based in the town, had been sold to competitor and international communications company Daisy Group.
The deal will see Daisy Group inherit around 270 extra customers as well as Damovo’s Horsham and London offices which house more than 200 employees.

Managing director, Simon Payne said: “I see this change in ownership as an exciting landmark in our own evolution and it brings with it new opportunities for our people and our customers.
“With a focus on developing their enterprise business through managed services, the acquisition of Damovo means we are a good fit strategically.
“Under Daisy’s ownership we will further evolve our business and growth in the market.”

Hide AdThe company stated business will continue as normal for customers and added relationships with partners, such as Cisco Systems, Mitel and Microsoft, will not be affected by the deal.
The purchase is the first completed by Daisy Group since its privatisation.
The company said they plan to continue the day-to-day running of the business in the same location and no one in the management team will be affected by the take over.
They added there were also no plans to make changes to other areas of the workforce.
