Communities team up to help maintain shore environment in Arun
The partnership is aimed at maintaining a clean and safe environment on the shoreline so the beauty of the environment can be enjoyed by people and wildlife all year round.
In practical terms this means collecting things that have been left on the beach as well as objects washed up on the tide.

Hide AdA new exhibition of this important and dedicated work is being displayed at the Look and Sea Centre to celebrate and recognise the work of West Sussex beach wardens and the many people who have been working with them.
The Aldingbourne Trust, a local charity supporting adults with learning difficulties, has been central to the project.
Mike Davis from the trust along with clients who attend the Aldingbourne Country Centre have made a film and taken photographs to record the community partnership in the joining together of this project to maintain the local coastal environment.
Anyone interested in the work of West Sussex beach wardens should contact Michelle Harbord on 01243 551547 or view the website at www.westsussexbeachwardens.co.uk
