Bumper crop of graduates at university's winter ceremony
The graduands, ranging in age from 19 to 72, and from around the UK and 61 other countries, will be presented with their awards by Professor Debra Humphris, the university’s vice-chancellor, at the Brighton Centre.
Professor Humphris said: “It is a privilege for me to share this special occasion with the students and to celebrate their fantastic achievements. They can be extremely proud and so too can their families, friends, lecturers and indeed, the entire university community.

There will also be a special award during the day.
Jennie Price will be made an Honorary Doctor of Letters in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the promotion of diversity within grass-roots sports.
A barrister by training, Mrs Price has been the chief executive of Sport England since April 2007 and the driving force behind the 'this girl can' campaign which tells the real stories of women who exercise and play sport.
Mrs Price received a CBE in the 2017 Queen’s Birthday Honours for service to sport, especially increasing women and girls participation in sport.

Hide AdThe keynote speaker at the ceremony will be Wesley Ankrah, managing director of Essential Living Future (ELF), and a Criminology and Sociology graduate from the University of Brighton.
He works to bring training, work experience and apprenticeships to young people living in some of the most disadvantaged communities in London. ELF aims to provide opportunities for young people to reduce these inequalities and create a platform for young people to succeed in later life.
Family members, friends and supporters will be attending each of the ceremonies during the day, with many more watching via Livestream.
