Borough council to debate MSK impact in new year
A motion proposed by Liberal Democrat councillors at the full council meeting on Tuesday night urged members to note public concern regarding the contract and that due process had not been used, in reference to the impact assessment.
The council was asked to support the campaign for improved service, ascertain why the contract was not awarded to the current provider and for the council’s stance on the matter to be communicated to the wider public.

Tarring councillor Hazel Thorpe, in proposing the motion, said she looked forward to the debate.
She added: “This has arisen because of local concerns and the questions asked show that the council does care about its residents, hence the name, ‘dare to care’.”
