Bishop blesses window at Guestling Primary
Staff and governors were there to share in a special service of dedication following the year long project to design and create a stained glass window with a generous donation from The Bradshaw Trust.
Pupils were encouraged to submit their ideas for the design which incorporates key elements of the local community as well as symbols of Christianity including fish and a rainbow.

The window was designed by Isobel Ackery BA and made for the school by Alan Tierney of Glass Dreams.
Katy Tugwell, from the school, said: “As children arrived for school there were gasps of amazement and wonder when they saw the stained glass for the first time.
“Bishop Martin of Chichester blessed the window and reminded the children that it represents many of the wonders that we see in the world God has created around us. It will be there for many future generations to enjoy as they pass through this school.
