Belgian film focuses on East Sussex fire crews
Hastings, Bexhill and Battle firefighters took part in a number of exercises over the bank holiday weekend with images taken to be used in the project.
Belgian film maker Jasper Leonard is making a film out of thousands of photos.

He has already created a similar one for Antwerp Fire service .
The film is showcasing the different abilities of European fire and rescue services and will be shown at an international exhibition next month.
Four exercises, which took place in and around East Sussex, will feature in the film.

Hide AdThe Battle and Bexhill line rescue teams took part in a simulated cliff rescue from a site near Beachy Head, with a ‘casualty’ who had fallen and become trapped halfway down the cliff face.
The crew went over the cliff with a stretcher , bringing the ‘casualty’ to the top of the cliff.
Over at Rock-a-Nore, Hastings firefighters rescued a ‘casualty’ who had fallen from the harbour wall on to the beach.
The crew used the aerial ladder platform to pitch from the car park, over the wall and fix a line recovery system to retrieve the casualty on a stretcher.
In other parts of the county, Eastbourne fire crews simulated a road traffic scenario while the Crowborough swift water rescue team rescued a ‘casualty’ from a river.
