"In my campaign, I'm going to emphasise that carrying knives is not BIG, it's just a wimp's way out."
She adds: "Please support me and help me in this.
"It's ruining people's lives all around the UK and it's going too far.
"If you don't wish to support me, do this for Sid and everybody else who has lost their lives."

Hide AdWorthing West MP Peter Bottomley visited Shelby Road on Saturday, January 31, and has also urged people not to carry knives.
He said: "My message would be that no-one should carry a knife, either for protection or aggression.
"If you think you're a potential victim, it is much better to turn and run. And if someone threatens you, go to the police.
"Knives have no place in defence or attack."
Mr Bottomley went on to reassure Worthing residents and said: "Murder is a very rare crime and people should not be becoming apprehensive."
